Project Designer

Phoenix Arizona

BWS Architects is seeking a Project Designer with a minimum of five years of public work experience to be part of our Phoenix office team.

The candidate should be a registered architect, creative problem solver, and will assist or be assisted by other staff members as necessary.  All work will be performed under the guidance of the firm Design Principal.  Responsibilities will include programming, planning, design, and development of assigned projects.  Strong communication skills, written, verbal and graphic, are required.

Candidate should have excellent client, project, and time management skills and possess the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.

Candidate must be a team player, willing to assist firm project architects in document production and marketing coordinator in the development of marketing materials when needed.

Requirements

Who we are looking for:

  • BArch or March, or equivalent degree

  • Previous professional architectural / design experience

  • Ability to use Revit in a professional environment preferred.

  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, MS Office products, SketchUp, and other software

Project Architect

BWS Architects is seeking a Project Architect to join the team.  With 30 years serving Arizona, and an incredible reputation for quality project delivery, this award-winning firm continues to grow - and grow!

Project Architect is a self-motivated registrant with a minimum of 5+ years of experience. Engaged in projects from start to finish, this person contributes during all phases of the work. This is a technically oriented Architect who moves projects from design into construction and maintains oversight of document production, budget, and schedule. As the construction document production lead, this person collaborates with the Design Architects and provides all coordination with project team engineers.

 Requirements

Who we are looking for:

  • Registered Architect with a minimum of 5 years of Architectural experience, public work experience is a plus

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture, or equivalent degree

  • Creative problem-solver with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate and present in writing, verbally, and graphically

  • Project Architect who can work autonomously on document production and take the lead as needed with clients, Design Team members, and in holding multiple (2-3 at a time) projects accountable to milestones and production timelines

  • This is a close-knit and collaborative environment, so willingness to wear multiple hats as needed and participate in the business is important

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, rendering programs, and MS Office

  • Experience with Revit in a professional environment is required
