Jacobs Water Park

This is the City of Tucson’s first aquatic facility to focus on fun and water play, rather than the traditional 25-yard lap pool that is the basis of the City’s other facilities. The idea here is to provide shallow water that is easily accessed with a sloped beach-type entry, with sprays and water play equipment and shade. Constructed of concrete block, corrugated metal and chain-link, this facility has a whimsical form and color that reflects its playful mission.
