Sierra Vista Alternative High School

The Sierra Vista School District’s Alternative High School – a flexible alternative for students not able to thrive in a typical high school environment – had been conducted in some added-on rooms in the back of the Administration Support building. This project provides a dedicated building on the campus of Buena High School. It includes a large resource center – a combination computer center and library – where students check out laptops and perform self-paced lessons. There are six meeting/classrooms of varying sizes, all supplied with complete audio-visual support; an exterior enclosed courtyard with tables for informal gathering, and a large break and workroom for the teachers.
